Hello, so what the title says I’m wanting to drop patho, as I really don’t think I’m gonna pass the next 3 exams working full time and being out for vacation. I did really bad on my first two exams, despite studying really hard and putting a lot of time and effort into the class. I emailed my advisor earlier this week and still waiting on a response, but if I were to drop Patho could I retake it in the fall at a community college? I don’t want to be on probation and pay for a class out of pocket that I don’t think I’ll pass. I also really don’t want to take it in person at UTA since I’m happy with my fall schedule right now.

To note I also applied for the Spring 2027 nursing program, so I still obviously have until September 1st to see if I even get in.

Hello, for background I got hired at HEB back in summer of 2024, this upcoming August I will be with them for 2 years now. I’ve never had any problems… until I moved to Arlington from west Texas and transferred stores. After I transferred, they started scheduling me only 1-2 days out of the whole week, and they would always be short 4 hour shifts. Now that summer started and I came back to west Texas, I had my Arlington store (Mansfield) release me so I could come work back at my original store for the summer. Ever since I’ve been here, they have been still scheduling me at the other store even though I’ve confronted them multiple times. This might not seem like a big deal to people, but I’m 19 and I’m having to support myself, pay bills and rent. I noticed my only tasks is only “Personal Shopper”, and when I confronted my coworkers and managers here in west Texas they said it wasn’t like that for them and that they can’t change it.

To makeup for the wrong scheduling, I was checking nonstop for any new shift postings for my west Texas store to make up for not being scheduled… and when I bidded on multiple shifts (all being first to do so on these) they all got denied. Did they not even see I’m on their schedule? :( I’ve also put my new availability as COMPLETELY open since ofc it’s summer so I don’t know what the issue is.

This is all just so extremely frustrating and overwhelming that I’m not getting scheduled, I’ve even talked to my lead manager asking if it’s a performance issue and they said no. I call in maybe once a year, always come in when help is needed, I’m a good employee and I’m just feeling that this is all so incompetent.

2nd: Proof of already having issues and having to contact my Mansfield store manager. EDIT —> I talked to my mangers in person the first week of April and they agreed to letting me go, and said they would handle it themselves and I didn’t have to do anything on my end.

3rd: My only tasks being shopper. This being I can’t even see or PICK UP curbside shifts.
