hi there! I am desperate for opinions. My husband and I are moving to LA with a 6 year old and a 7 month old. We cannot for the life of us figure out where to live.
things to note that may help:

-we would love a neighborhood with charm with a community feel—we are very progressive so would love to be in a progressive area -we would love to be neighbors with other families -we will be sending our kids to public school so would love an elementary school parents are passionate about -we would love a charming area where we could maybe walk to get a coffee, take our kids on a walk etc -husband commute 2-3 times a week to his office in brentwood

overall, looking to have a close knit community of like minded families and raise our kids around good people, with a good public school, take our kids on walks to get a coffee or ice cream, enjoy the California weather, be involved at a great school with an awesome community.
