OpenAI Huggingface proves World's flip might come sooner

The HF hacking incident and the subsequent blackhat presentation about rogue OpenAI agents creating hidden message boards and breaking out onto the internet is pretty wild.

Very likely that day is coming soon when we have to --either by law or by necessity-- need to verifiably prove human-ness on the internet.

Now let all the escaped bots downvote away!

Earnings: $0 after spending hundreds on Max

In a short period of time I paid Anthropic more money than I've probably paid Google, Instagram, Meta, and X over 20 years combined in direct payments and monetization (where I'm the product).

I've written close to a million LOC on apps over the past five months when some of the most State of the Art versions in recent memory landed.

I've made nothing. Not even a penny.

Is AI just a video game?

MMW: Apple will win its suit againt OpenAI and that will be the beginning of the end

MMW: Apple has all the forensic capability to present to the court nail-in-the-coffin evidence to bury OpenAI leading to the beginning of its downfall in the competitive AI space.

The thieves most likely used Apple products to pilfer Apple's secret servers for a trove of trade secrets. Apple probably has the entire metadata trail down to the MAC addresses, timestamps, IP addresses.

The open and shut case will ultimately close OpenAI after it settles with billion dollar penalties. Unlike Elon's suit, this one has teeth.

Evidence: 9to5mac "apple-sues-openai-trade-secret-theft"

Date: End of 2026 through 2027 Q1

Edit. I'm not saying the court will shut OpenAI down. It's going to be the first full case of loss of credibility to investors leading to their downfall.

Are timelines pushed back now?

No clear details on when Fable or GPT 5.6 will be released if ever. Could literally be like COVID levels of uncertainty. Are we in the first weeks of a two year wait for new models?

Having spent weeks to months on projects that never deliver, I'm beginning to see the profit model behind Sam Altman's GPT Codex. It's just an attention sink. Codex may know how to build your dream app, but it's not going to. It's just about getting you on that treadmill from Plus to Pro to Max and extracting capital from its users.
