I am considering visiting Chamonix first week of September, as I’ll be in Geneva that period.

I would love to go on a hike, but how can I find a hiking group I can join? I would rather not go alone, but I am not sure of any groups that go together.

I usually use meetup, and hiking groups are abundant and easy to find, in the multiple European cities I use it. So, I am surprised to not find anything on Meetup in Chamonix.

Do you know of a group I can join for a hike?

Hello everyone!

I’ll be in Geneva for a conference during 7-11 September, and before finalising my travel plans, I’m considering extending my stay by a few days to fit in a hike or two.

Does anyone know of any active hiking groups in the area that organise regular outings?

I’ve already looked on Meetup, but most of the groups I found don’t seem to run hikes very frequently. So there’s a chance I won’t find anything organised during the dates I’m there.

If you know of any hiking, trekking, or outdoor groups that I could get in touch with, I’d really appreciate any recommendations.
