Confused which firmware my WF-1000XM5 are on + selling them
Hey!
So last winter I lost the case of my WF-1000XM5 earbuds. I have been wanting to sell the earbuds themselves for a while since replacement cases are quite a lot ($60-70 on average on E-Bay, and these buds were a gift), but now I am done with school for the time being and actually have time to do it. However, problem. Because my buds haven't been charged in such a long time, they no longer connect with my phone. As I understand it, knowing the firmware edition is important since these buds can't be paired with another bud of a different firmware. On the app, however, I can't find their firmware; only a history of the software updates and the latest one (Nov. 17) saying that it was "available" (but does this mean that the buds actually updated to this firmware (6.1.0) or did they stay at their previous one (6.0.0)? Additionally, I am planning to sell the pair (used, should be working since they worked 100% well before I lost the case), and am thinking $60 for an auction starting price - this seems fair from what I've seen, but let me know what you all think.
