Happiness after a breakup?

I’m going through a difficult breakup right now. I’m 28F, and my ex is 34M. We broke up a few weeks ago, and I’m having a hard time adjusting. This was my first real adult relationship, and before him, I spent most of my twenties single.
Right now, I think my biggest fear is starting over and wondering what life looks like after a breakup like this. For people who have gone through something similar, what actually helped you heal? How did you rebuild your confidence, routine, or outlook on dating again? Did you eventually find healthier relationships afterward? How long did it take for you to meet the “right person”?
I’m trying to focus on moving forward instead of staying stuck in the breakup, and I’d really appreciate advice from people who’ve been through it.
