setting aside the old turtle neck meat description that said the urge to reproduce has waned (which still didn't necessarily mean it doesn't happen at all, but that it just happens less often), is there anything that suggests natural childbirth simply isn't a thing anymore?

I can see the logic in thinking that not all of marika's children were born naturally, I suppose, but I don't think that extends to everyone in the lands between. melina says herself that births continue. life, uh, finds a way.

what do you all think? are people just not born at all anymore, or are they born (or reborn) a different way? what about wildlife?
