I’m starting my first story on Wattpad just for fun, but I don't have any experience and my grammar is not best.

I’ve been typing my scenes including all the dialogue and the specific emotions I want to show and then using google gemini to edit it. My plan is to have the gemini fix the grammar and help me describe the emotions better, but the actual story and ideas are all mine. I have been getting better at describing emotions when writing. But not very confidence with my grammar. I haven't even attended a writing competition before 🥲

I want to make sure I'm doing this in the right way before I start posting since some controversy over it going on.
