I'm visiting Stanford this week, looking for cool day trips (nature/parks ideally), using public transport. I know there are plenty of options in San Francisco, but how about other places?

I'm in Paris tomorrow, cannot afford tickets for the semifinal but would like to experience the game atmosphere (minus the hooligans lol)...what are some good places to do so? Any parks with live screens or recommended pubs
