About a month ago, I entered my son in a Junior Ranger competition. He is only 4, and so far I have made him extremely aware of the competition, do the activities and actually get him involved in nature and good activities for the environment in Nanuet or just our own backyard. I know many other parents do the same and it’s great!
Yesterday was the final round for his competition, only the kid in 1st place made it to the semi finals. Nolan lost 1st place 1 hour before closing. It appears the family strategized and donated a large sum at the end.
I thought that it was the end of the competition and that nolan was eliminated. it appears though that he was selected for a final round with a couple of other kids who were really close to winning first place in their group. I am not asking for a donation, I simply do want nolan to have a shot the right way if at all possible.
If you have the chance to vote for free, we would appreciate it. I also plan to do a YouTube video on what parents should really be prepared for when entering their child in this competition. I love that donations go towards animals but the competition is exhausting and it really appears more like a gamble and what family is willing to donate the most. Unfortunately, while the parent who entered their child is banned from voting/donating...Nothing is stopping a wealthy family from sending money to a friend or loved one.

I also want to ask for your suggestion on whether making YouTube video ; without hurting the National Wildlife, on what to expect from the competition is a good idea.
