Top suggestions from my personal experience:

@german

  1. Focus on your level (Dein Niveau)

Don’t compare your Chapter 1 with someone else’s Chapter 20. If you are A1, master A1 first. Keine Eile—build a strong foundation.

  1. Use textbooks actively (Aktiv lernen)

Textbooks are for understanding, not just copying Lösungen. Try to understand the text im Kontext, not only through translation. Languages don’t translate 1:1.

  1. Learn sentences, not just words (Satzchunks)

“Steal” real sentences. This helps you speak naturally and improves grammar automatisch.

  1. Balance all 4 skills (4 Bereiche)

Hören, Sprechen, Lesen, Schreiben — all are wichtig. Input (listen/read) + Output (speak/write) = real progress. Use both täglich.

  1. Ask smart questions (Gute Fragen stellen)

With KI oder Lehrer/in—better questions = better answers. Be specific and clear.

Final thought: Find your own learning pattern. Was für andere funktioniert, funktioniert nicht immer für dich. Fail early, learn faster. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Niemand ist perfekt.
