Morning or late workout?

M43. i always wake up by 7.00-7.30am because of the to go to school, my work only starts 10.30am and as a postman I walk 8-9 miles/day delivering letters and parcels, all walk.

I usually go to the gym by 9.30-10pm when the kids go to bed.

Just wandering if it's better to go in the morning after the kids leave home to school or keep the night routine.

After workout I cannot sleep straight away after shower, so I stay awake until 12.30-1am everyday.

I like going at night but with the body already exhausted from work the mood sometimes is not the best.

What do you recommend/advise? pros and cons on both sides (early/late)?

I'm reading a lot and cannot get a consensus as every persons circumstances are different.
