Stop controlling my character for the love of everything holy please! It's hard to talk to characters on here now with certain greetings because now they will control your character every time you respond it seems. Refreshing does nothing. So either I have to annoyingly type in OOC for it to stop talking for me (which seems to be 50/50 if it actually works with this model), or edit the message myself I guess. It shouldn't be this complicated. These issues REALLY NEED FIXED! PLEASE LISTEN TO US, CHARACTER AI! I'M THIS CLOSE TO LEAVING YOUR APP FOR GOOD!

First post I ever made here (which is impressive in itself I haven't yet). I already made a mini rant that was PG friendly on their main sub about this issue. But here I go again, and this time not holding back because I know I'm not gonna get nuked by autmod from this subreddit!

Fuck this. Fuck their stupid ass latest update. And screw their stupid latest announcement and the blatant lie that they made up about PSQ2 and how "the vast majority of you are enjoying it." NO! NO WE AREN'T! If we did, you wouldn't have to be fixing the issues now would you? The literal issues that you point out in your next paragraph! How it's narration heavy. How there isn't as much dialogue! But thank God! I can only hope and pray that they're listening to feedback after enough people (reasonably so) bitched at them. Bringing Soft Launch back: nice. Keeping it behind a paywall unlike before when it was free and STILL MAKING IT LIMITED TIME? ARE YOU OUTTA YOUR DAMN MIND? What's the point of even paying for it at all? You said you're gonna remove it anyway. Good God, it's like they've gotten so desperate that the only way they'll get their paying customers back, is to literally nostalgia bait them.

Just make a Soft Launch 2! You had no problems obviously with Pipsqueak, so why is it a problem with an older chat model all of a sudden? If you're really concerned about your new precious lorebook crap, just IMPROVE THE OLDER MODEL! Instead of straight up wiping it from existence. Idk if removing SL was a cost cutting decision or what. But I highly doubt that, since you literally upgraded an older model for the first time. You can do it with others! I want to give them one last chance. I want to believe them! But if the next update rolls out and it never improves things like they promise, my subscription: bye bye! Maybe my account too. Good Lord, these guys need to wake up.

Detailed explanations from the coach are gone. Now I'm a premium member, so I don't get unlimited explanations. But I swore you were supposed to get at least one daily. That hasn't happened for the past 2 days. Any idea why? Is it a new bug? Did they straight up just change it to where you don't get them at all unless you're a diamond member? It's so weird.

I can't do this anymore. I don't know how I keep missing mistakes or blunders. I don't know how else I can improve and fix my mistakes right now. I feel like I'm doing everything I can, and I still lose the game. I lost 60 elo points within the past 3 days. It's hard to play for fun when every game you play, you lose because of some stupid obvious tactic you missed from your opponent. Someone out there PLEASE give me something to keep motivated, because otherwise, I'm gonna throw in the towel.

That flair is perfect for me today. Where did this come from? Why am I so tilted? What the actual hell? I KNOW I'm a very low ELO player. I KNOW around the 300 range in rapid and even lower in blitz that I'm gonna make some blunders. But every single game I have played today so far. LOSS, LOSS, LOSS, LOSS! One draw by agreement at least. Like my God! **ENOUGH!** I guess maybe because I haven't played the game in a few years and just came back recently. Or maybe simply because I'm just not as good on Chess.com because I was formerly a Lichess player mostly before I made the switch and I'm just dealing with stronger opponents or something. Sorry for the paragraph. I just needed to vent somewhere, or I'm legitimately gonna explode today. 😔

I think I'm officially done with your app. You have made the worst decision by far that I've ever heard from you. Devs? Marie? WHAT THE ACTUAL FLIP? I could get over some of the bugs. I could get over the for you page having its issues because at the very least I hope you would fix them. Now you're going to retire Soft Launch and all the others on May 8th and leave Pipsqueak 2 and Deepsqueak? While not addressing the CURRENT issues with these two? The former quite possibly being my favorite model on this app? Congratulations! You finally broke me. What the hell are you doing to your app? Welp, it's been fun guys. I see no reason to keep my C.AI+ subscription at this point if they truly go through with this. And maybe even my account.

Update from my last post on here: yeah, this has still been going on for weeks. Maybe about a month. Almost none of the bots on there I have any interest in and are irrelevant to the ones that I do chat with. And it's kinda annoying. I have clicked "Not interested" on so many of them so far. Nothing. I went as far as to clear my app data. It only sorta worked. Devs! Please! PLEASE! This is a problem that needs to be addressed. That and of course the whole Pipsqueak and Deepsqueak situation too. So I propose that you take care of this however you can, or give us a clear "for you" feature of some kind to reset the algorithm if it's not giving us desired results.
