I’m sorry but I’m starting to tire on these “Eloise needs to see different kinds of love to see love for herself” takes. Eloise is a grown woman who has watched 5 out of 8 of her siblings marry and start families. She’s seen her younger sister be widowed, her best friend fall in love with her brother while being a gossip writer, and see her brother fall in love with a maid. She’s truly seen everything. There’s simply nothing at this point in the narrative that she could possibly gain from Francesca and Michaela’s romance that she didn’t already get from all the family members before her.

I’m also tired of the justifications for her needing to see different kinds of love being so surface level it almost makes Eloise sound like an idiot. “Franchaela will show her you can have love outside of marriage” I would think she already knew that when all of her siblings found love BEFORE getting married. I don’t know if it’s just an extension of the fandom’s problem with infantilizing Eloise but she’s not THAT oblivious to why people get married, her speech at the end of s4 tells you as much.
