Confused between the KTM 250 Adventure and the RE Scram 440
Hey everyone, as the title suggests I'm quite stranded between the KTM 250 Adventure and the RE Scram 440 as my first bike. I think adv bikes give much more options as the type of ride I'll be in.
My usage:
\*Mostly city commute + highway touring on weekends
\*Want something fun but also comfortable for longer rides
\*Reliability and service experience
\*I'm looking forward to exploring some mountain rides and off roading along the way
What I’m trying to understand from the owners:
Which one feels better in daily use?
Average mileage according to owners usage?
Highway cruising and overtaking confidence?
refinement on long rides(engine vibrations) and heating?
Suspension and bad-road comfort?
Maintenance and service costs?
Any ownership regrets?
Would really appreciate opinions from people who’ve ridden or owned both. Thanks.
Edit :- I'm from india, and on indian highways the average speed in 90-110 kmph so....lesser displacement isn't too much of an issue. Also a lot of honda bikes are not available in the indian market
