Hi guys,

This is a fellow traveller and passionate hiker. I'm currently on the beautiful island of sicily, in Catania to be precise. This whole trip to Sicily was mainly so I can hike up Etna which I planned on doing today. Despite being at the AST bus station 40 minutes early, I did not manage to get a seat on the bus. Another thing I have not considered is the public holiday on May 1st which means I cannot rely on a bus tomorrow.

Therefore I am reaching out to any Sicilians or anyone else who is planning on driving to Etna from Catania on May 1st and has an empty seat in their car/bike where I can join.

Any other budget friendly solution are most welcome.

I am leaving on 2nd May in the morning so waiting for that is not a viable option.
