Many of the problems of the current generation disappear: micro-biomes, rivers that are too small, mountains with four different biomes... the problem is that the most common biomes become too large. I would love to have a generation between the "large biomes" and the original.
My recommendation is that if you are experienced players, play with this option. You can delete chunks loaded with external applications to make the world lighter, or you can use Chunkbase and search for biomes directly. Using Nether paths is essential.
