I’m a new paramedic and I’ve been getting stumped on calling ST elevation. I’ve asked preceptors and other medics in my jurisdiction and many when I point out the ST elevation I see, they usually say yeah but it’s not a major concern with vitals, symptoms, and other leads. The most recent one I had was ST elevation in v1 and v2 like 1mm change. No reciprocal depression and everything else normal. I watched a long video about ECG’s and an MI doesn’t need reciprocal if it’s in two leads next to each other. Am I looking too deep into them and/or not concerning to inform the ED staff?
