100 f2 or 100 f2.5
Hi all!
Self explanatory, but I have a job coming up and client has requested film. I was gifted an x500 from my father in law about a year ago and it’s become my main workhorse. Currently have a 45 mm and the 58mm 1.2 that I primarily use for personal work, but wanted to invest in an 85mm 1.7, a 100mm f2, or a 100mm 2.5
I cannot decide which one to get, so if you could let me know your experience— why or why not?
Lastly, I don’t mind pricing. I realize the 2.5 is quite a bit more affordable than the 2.0– however, I do shoot film professionally for companies and personally. If the 2.0 is that much superior to the 2.5, i’m willing to invest in it. However, is this the case? I feel like it may be a collector thing rather than a quality issue. Let me know~
