Looking for some reassurance. I was finally feeling hopeful and less anxious going into my third scan yesterday when we learned that I’m measuring 4 days behind at only 9 weeks and 5 day. At first, the nurse practitioner said it’s fine - they consider +/- 3 days normal, but then when my husband pointed out that it was 4 days and not 3, she tried to walk it back and say it was still normal.
The baby’s heart rate was 167 bpm. It was an IUI pregnancy so I know when I ovulated. My 7 week and 1 day scan measured exactly on time with a heart rate of 122. My 8 week and 2 day scan measured one day behind with a heart rate of 164.
This ultrasound was just an abdominal one. The tech went pretty fast because I really had to pee. I know some variation is normal but after two losses, I really need to hear it from those who went through something similar.
I’m sad because I was finally planning on telling my family assuming everything looked good. Now, I’m not so sure.
