Hi !! so for a bit of context I am a student who did early decision and got into NUIG (touch wood 🧿🧿🧿) and that was also with the help of multiple extracurriculars that I focused on that they were very related to my subject. My subject is psychology wit my minor as human rights (gy113) pursuing so what I did was I set up multiple workshops at old age homes where we gave out basic tips and we made them indulgent different activities like for example what we did as in my court team we were divided into like three teams and my team was assigned change through physical activity and so we were consistently visiting here in year 11 for six months and some more credentials about me
Ap statistics –4/5

No, I haven’t gotten my CBSE results back BUT MY PREDICTED WAS A 92% AND WITH ALL MY SUBJECTS THAT I HAD ON 11TH I HAD SCORED 75 AND IN MY SCHOOL WAS 96 NOW I THINK IT MOSTLY DID DEPEND ON MY ESSAY A LOT WHICH I WILL SHARE
You are some key things that I did kind of helped I guess and these are like completely raw versions of me like I’m actually like being completely honest. I want to help every other student there was a part of me that started off on Reddit searching for extracurricular so I am here to help you guys ;)
I tried keeping it very limited to excelling in only a few fields and I didn’t go to any summer school because I was too broke to afford anything like that, and I come from a pretty low income household but I barely qualified for the financial aid so I had I have to be taking up student loans now what I did do was I would use my free time kind of marketing myself so that I could any experience related to my subject.
Kind of worked beside this organisation that that dealt with students that basically were also just as confused and I still think they are very helpful organisation because a short period I was there they had a website on which we could like ask your queries and pretty much if you attended their seminar you would what you would be learning through videos in an hour because it was like I want to one platform where we were speaking to students themselves from the country that we were designed to go through. I was in the Ireland group. And as I kind of stayed communicating and stayed like networking with people that kind of really helped me and now I already have like a way of getting discounts on housing when I’ve never even really like stepped foot on Ireland. I can elaborate more about this but it’s like my complete honest review very practical and very student friendly if anything .
Besides networking, I I think it really was my essay that pulled the admission off because I I correlated something completely random to the psychology. I had initially used my my room’s wallpaper like the paint and I connected it to my essay which which sounds pretty vague as I say it. But make sure you hire someone to review your essay. Someone with more experience would help .
Not sure if it’s the most relevant tip but I kept exercising and I stayed very consistent with the gym and pretty much like having that sort of discipline cause I have ADHD I found a very difficult to study when I wasn’t like not disciplined or I had very unique ways of finding motivation but the simplest thing that the trick was going to the gym and that kind of did teach me patience in a way and I’m sure it’s probably like a non-issue for a lot of you but the way I see did kind of help me cool myself down take my mind of stuff is, especially if you feel like taken a lot of pressure for college applications like I get it
i’m not so sure if my tips were helpful, but if there’s anything that you guys like need help with you guys can totally like reach out to me in my DMS or like just text me I’ll probably just answer you back !! 😛
