Are clubs as necessary for Science students as for Commerce?

hi all,

im a BSci student, and a lot of my close friends are in BCom. what I’ve noticed is that literally most of them (me n all of them are first years first sem) is a committee in at least 2 commerce-related clubs (that actually does “things”, and not just host socials), while me and other friends who are in Bsci aren’t a committee member in any clubs at all. so I’m just wondering, am I just a bum or is there a much higher expectation for BCom students to be involved (not just participate) in clubs than it is for Bsci, especially this early on?

Hi all,

I have been looking to set up a more comprehensive router system across the house. If relevant, I live in Australia, and I am currently on a 100mbps/25mbps plan with 4 people in the household. For better visualisation I have added a (very terrible) hand-drawn layout of my house. I have a singular cable outlet set up in the living room and I won't be able to add any more cable system in the main house. I have concrete walls as well. I am stuck on what router I should be buying (been looking at a mesh system), with the main purpose of room 2 and 3 being able to access wifi without any inconsistencies.

The nuance now is that there is currently a plan of an extension house (4) being built towards the very back the property, right behind room 2 and the backyard. I think for this one I would be able to build a cable system here, but in the worst case scenario, I will assume that there won't be any additional cables being set up in room 4.

I am down to do any advanced software related configurations as well.

If you need further information please do tell me.

I would gladly appreciate any routers recommendations that can consistently and comfortably support the usage and cover the area (~30m radius) while not being overkill and overpriced for my scenario. Thanks guys

Hi all, I have a base model iphone 12. It has a really low battery health of 77%. However for daily use (e.g social media) it works fine, albeit sometimes freezing up. Biggest issue rn is the phone camera being extremely laggy. With that in mind, should i buy 17 pro now or wait? and is there any reason to get 17 pro over 17? Only games I play is clash royale lol and I'm not a serial photo taker
