Please give me the sources saying that the price of the iPhone 17 will go up.

There are a lot of rumors online about a price hike in the U.S., and I’m trying to time if I should buy the 17 base NOW or once the line of the 18s comes out in mid-Sept. Thanks.

Any photographers in here? Will the 18 be a big upgrade on the camera?

I currently have the 12 pro and will be upgrading to the 18. I was just wondering how good will the camera be? How good has the camera been on the last few phones ?

17 or 17Pro?

Hi everyone,

I currently have a 3 year old 15Pro at 80% battery capacity (which is REALLY annoying me lately!), and as I have an upcoming trip to NYC, I am thinking to take advantage of the trade-in value and exchange my phone for a 17 or 17pro. However, I am super undecided on which one to get - I am afraid I will regret going from pro to base model.

Anyone that also traded their 15pro recently?

Thank you so much in advance!

P.S. Waiting for 18PRO is not an option, as I want to buy my phone in the US (price in Europe is much higher!!)

iPhone 16 Pro Max → iPhone 18 Pro Max: Worth the upgrade based on current leaks?

I currently have an iPhone 16 Pro Max and I’m trying to decide whether I should upgrade to the iPhone 18 Pro Max when it comes out.

Obviously, we don’t know the final specs yet, but based on the current leaks and rumors, the 18 Pro Max is expected to bring things like:

- A20 Pro chip / 2nm process
- Variable-aperture main camera
- Smaller Dynamic Island
- Improved display efficiency
- Potentially better battery life / larger battery
- Newer Apple modem and connectivity chips
- Other camera and hardware improvements

The design itself doesn’t seem like it’s going to be a massive departure from the recent Pro Max models.

So, for someone who already owns a 16 Pro Max, would you personally:

A) Upgrade to the 18 Pro Max
B) Keep the 16 Pro Max for another year
C) Upgrade only if the camera/battery improvements turn out to be significant
D) Wait for the 19 Pro Max instead

I’m particularly interested in hearing from people who have upgraded across multiple generations.

Based purely on what we currently know from the leaks, do you think the 18 Pro Max will be a meaningful upgrade from the 16 Pro Max, or mostly incremental?

And if you currently have a 16 Pro Max, what specific 18 Pro Max feature would actually convince you to upgrade?

Would love to hear what everyone thinks.

Iphone 17, 18 or 20

Hey, I currently have an iPhone 15 and I was thinking of upgrading to either a 17 or its variants, 18 PRO (in Sept) or 20 next year.
We already have the leaks for 18 and it doesnt seem like a huge jump from 17.
20 is a bit far fetched but it’s more like FOMO ( thewhat if 20 is the biggest upgrade to the iphone”) since it’s their anniversary but so far all we know is the all glass design.

Get iphone 17 or wait on 18?

Hello, for context I currently use an iphone 12 and recently it’s been getting quite slow for my tastes. I’ve heard differing opinions but would the move be to get one of the 17 models or wait until apple drops the 18? Thanks!

Should I get the iPhone 17 or iPhone 17e?

I'm looking to upgrade my iPhone 12 that I have been using for 5 years. I would mainly use my phone for browsing social media, watching TikTok videos, accessing apps etc and I like taking photos as well, primarily landscapes but not into gaming. Should I get the iPhone 17e or the additional $200 cost is worth it for iPhone 17? Thanks!

iPhone 17 vs 17 pro

Should I buy the 17 or the 17 pro? I currently have a 15 and the reason I want to upgrade is so my phone isnt constantly overheating and I want better camera quality bc i frequently go to concerts. I know the 17 pro has better camera quality but i love the colors and style of the base 17 way more and its more affordable. However if the 17 pro’s camera quality is that much of an upgrade over the base 17 for concerts im fine with spending the extra money.

I want AirPods and I am not sure what to get

I just want some really solid ear buds that will last me a long time and have good battery life, USB C charger is a must as well as noise cancellation.

My Sony XM5s are due for replacement, are the AirPods Max 2 worth the price?

My Sony WH-1000XM5s are reaching the end of their life and I'm looking for a replacement. Since I'm owning an iphone, the AirPods Max 2 are a candidate, but the price is hard to ignore.

What do you think ?

Don’t upgrade your phone

Let me explain. So i got the iphone 17 pro when it came out and before that i was using a 13 pro with a battery health of 76 which i was already planning to change cuz it didn’t last even 6 hrs after a full charge. I sell apple devices so i’m exposed to a lot of apple phones. Whilst using my 17 pro i got a deal for a used 15 pro max from a customer and decided to use the phone alongside my 17 pro. Well…i eventually sold the 17 pro instead and stuck to the 15pm. In my experience it just felt better using the 15pm and i just can’t explain why.

The 13 pro i had was being used by my roommate all this while btw and he even considered buying it one time which made me think i could have kept using it and used the money for a more profitable cause. Do what you must with this info but i hope u make the right financial decision when it comes to upgrading your phone.

Mac Mini M2, Macbook Air M5, or Macbook Neo

I know questions like these have been asked to death, but hear me out:

-Currently have an M2 Mac Mini (8gb ram model) with a desktop set up - right now I can trade it in to Apple and actually get credit for more than what I paid for the Mac Mini itself

- Macbook Air M5 512 gb model with 16gb ram - can still get this for $1,099 from a university store (not a student but I work for them so I can get this price)

-Macbook Neo 512gb model with touch ID- can also still get this at the price of $599 from the university store

I have no real need to upgrade my Mac Mini M2, but the thing is I don't get much utility out of it. I rarely am planted at my personal desk and dedicate time to just using this computer for personal reasons. When I do use it, I just use it for the general things like browsing, shopping, listening to music, playing some computer games every so often, maybe some light photo or document editing... nothing major, more day to day things.

For most things, I end up just resorting to my iphone or old ipad because of the mobility/convenience. But lately I've been thinking of trading it in/selling it and going for a Neo or Macbook Air, that way its a much more mobile MacOS device, I can use it on the couch or on the go, etc, and at the same time could still use a dongle or docking station and connect it to my monitor when I want to have the desktop set up.

I guess my question is, do I keep the mini since I already have an ipad and iphone, or just go for the Neo or the Air, and which one? Ideally would like something to last me a good few years. And both are killer deals at the moment considering the price hikes, but given my usage, the Air for 1099 plus tax does seem like a bit of overkill, but I feel like it would be better for long term use and gaming... any advice or input would be helpful!!! thanks!

iPhone 17 overheating and battery life

I really need some honest advice. Ive been wanting to get the iPhone 17 base model but im seeing a lot of mixed reviews. ive seen many people online complain about its overheating issues and short battery life while a lot of people say thats not an issue that they experienced at all. I know there are a ton of posts like mine but im just rlly confused on what to do and is this an actual issue in all the iPhone 17s? should I just get an iPhone 15 or smth?

Im not a heavy gamer but I do like creating and editing videos, and I typically use a phone for just the basic stuff like Google Maps, scrolling, etc etc. I don't want to buy the pro or pro max versions because I've heard that they arent drastically diff from the iPhone 17 base model.

rlly need some guidance 😭
