Does a MacBook Air make sense for me?

In the market for a new laptop as I am ready to throw the current one I am using, with a broken mousepad, across the room. (Not really). I've always had a chromebook or a HP laptop. The chromebook has been versatile enough for google drive/telehealth/google for workplace. My work is as a therapist so I sometimes need my laptop for telehealth if I'm away from my home office setup. I realized I just want to get a macbook. My iphone is the most consistent tech I own and I think I just want to go with apple. Will all the google things I use integrate into the macbook? Is there any reason not to get a macbook?

iPhone 12 pro user here

I've been debating on if its time to upgrade my phone. Right now my battery life says it charges up to 80%. I still find myself having to charge during the day. I use my phone a lot with the band I'm in. Having to take care of bookings and our socials. I don't take photo's or videos as often as I should. But that's mainly due to storage space on my phone. I had looked at a refurbished 16pro, but wondering if I should wait until sept for the 18pro. I know its way more expensive then the refurbished, but I can also do a monthly payment on the phone through T-Mobile. Are there any other suggestions I should look into?

Upgrade from Galaxy M05 to Base Iphone 17 or 17 pro ?

I am leaping up a huge upgrade from my old Samsung Galaxy M05 to new Base Iphone 17 or 17 pro. Budget is not an issue but I want my phone to last at least 3 years ( and next years would be bonus ) It should perform well , Should not overheat or throttle. Or should I stay in Samsung lane and get S26 ? and also some IOS tips to keep in mind !!!

iPhone 17 or 17 pro or should I wait for 18 pro

Hi everyone I’m an iPhone 12 base user. It’s been like 6 years now. There are some complications, not charging properly (heating, sometimes not charging at all), apps crashing, camera is not good anymore.

I’m not an avid mobile gamer or content creator that uses their phone all the time. But I use my phone a lot daily. And I’m a street photographer, I use professional camera (Fujifilm) for it.

I’m currently unemployed and my phone is troubling me a lot. It’s getting crashed and not charging. (Haven’t tried wireless charging). But I think 6 years is late to change an iPhone.

So my question is should I get iPhone 17 or 17 pro now (if so which should I get). I so the specs, there were not a lot of difference. And I’m thinking as a street photographer should I get the 17 pro.

And then I heard the rumors that 18 pro would be a major upgrade for camera. And the 18 pro will be released in less than 5 months. So should I wait.

And I live in India. The price point is crazy here. The 17 is $850 and 17 pro is $1400 approx. The difference is like $550. Is the 17 pro worth the extra $550. Or should I wait for the 18 pro ( which would be at the same $1400). And then probably the 17 pro’s price would drop.

Thank you in advance.

I’m interested in getting an iPad for myself mainly for basic things like watching shows, playing games or other things. I don’t wanna pay too much for one through.

iPhone 17 or 16?

I am planning on trading my 64GB XR in. I’ve had this one for about 3 years now after my previous one had a vibrate motor that was deemed unfixable. The main things I care about are actually having good camera quality, storage, not overheating 24/7, loading things in more than 5 years, and battery life. These are all things I’ve noticed my phone is definitely lacking in comparison even to the 12 or 13. I intend to keep a new phone for a while as I have with the XR (~ 7 years in total). I’ve never been the person to buy the newest phone, but I’ve been seeing a ton of people saying the 17 is good.

Best apple watch for the price?

I’ve never had an Apple Watch before, but I’m thinking about picking one up to track fitness and stay on top of notifications without pulling out my phone all the time. There are so many options and I don’t want to overspend.

any suggestions on which one gives good value for a beginner? Thanks in advance

Which should I buy

I’m currently on the 11 pro max and it’s recently started to slow down a lot, and battery not holding charge and taking long periods of time to charge so, I’ve been looking at new phones, the 17 is out of my price range. I’ve seen the 15 128gb at €669 and a 16 128gb at €784 which would uses recommend.

What color 17 should I get?

I’m torn between white and mist, I currently have a black 16e, but I might want to get a different color as a pallet cleanser, but I might consider black or sage, which color do you recommen? and before you say colors don’t matter, know I almost only use clear cases, and colors really affect me.

Should I buy the Iphone 17 Pro right now or should I wait for the Iphone 18 Pro?

Hey guys, I'm thinking of finally upgrading after a good 7 years, I'm getting a Pro in particular for the longevity and vapor cooling chamber. Currently using some low-end crappy android phone, I'm unsure whether or not to get the 17 Pro right now, or to wait until September for the 18 Pro. I'm not particularly a "mobile" gamer, content creator nor photographer, but I'm leaning towards taking a lot of photos n stuff when I do get the phone. A relative of mine can help trade in his Iphone 16 Pro Max for me to get a discount since he already upgraded.

Switching to iPhone soon

I'm torn between the Lavender iPhone 17 and the Mist Blue iPhone 17. I saw them in person to help with my decision and the Lavender surprised me in how light it was from everything I've seen online. I was so sure that was the color from the posts and videos about them but now I'm torn 😵‍💫

This will be my long term phone for the next 5+ years so I don't want to have one I hate the color of. (It matters even if I cover it up with a case, my OCD wouldn't quit bugging me if I do that 😅)

For those who had to choose between two colors, how'd you make up your mind? Do you regret your pick?

Transitioning from Android/PC to iPhone/Mac. Are these worth it? also question about apple finance.

For reference, I am 22M, Unemployed, looking to get into medium/long form decently high quality content creation for YouTube. Currently have £18,000 saved up.

I currently rock a tech set up of a Samsung Galaxy S23 128gb, Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360 16GB RAM 1TB SSD Intel Core Ultra 7 155, and Beats PowerBeats Pro 2. Suffice to say the phone is getting quite old now (noticeably decreased battery life) and the laptop is terribly inefficient, only getting around 4 hours screen-on time.

I am currently looking at an iPhone 17 Pro Max 512GB (in blue btw), 16 Inch MacBook Pro M5 Pro 64GB RAM 4TB SSD, and as an accessory an Apple Watch Ultra 3.

The iPhone is £1,399, the MacBook is £4,548 and the Watch is £749, leading to a combined price of £6,696. So I can obviously pay for it all upfront.

However, I am curious about financing, along with a phone plan, I want to build my credit score, without a credit card just yet.

Mainly for the iPhone because of the 20 month upgrade every year 0% plan as it will actually run to be cheaper when I get the iPhone 20.

The Watch I could go either way.

With the MacBook however, would it be better to just pay full upfront since it is a hefty purchase? or finance that too.

What experiences have you guys had with financing? Are these good products to get? and overall just advice for someone looking to switch from Android/PC to iPhone/Mac.

Should I buy iPhone 17 Pro Max now or wait for iPhone 18 Pro Max?

I’m seriously thinking about buying the iPhone 17 Pro Max, but at the same time I keep wondering if I should just wait for the iPhone 18 Pro Max release.

My main dilemma is this:

If I wait 4-5 months and the iPhone 18 Pro Max ends up being only incremental improvements, then maybe waiting was pointless. But at the same time, what if the 18 actually brings major upgrades that make the 17 feel outdated quickly?

Another thing is that first release devices sometimes have bugs, overheating, battery issues, camera processing problems, or software instability during the first months. So part of me thinks buying the more mature 17 Pro Max could actually be the safer move.

For people who usually upgrade iPhones:
Would you buy the 17 Pro Max now and enjoy it immediately, or wait for the 18 Pro Max?

Also curious how often you regretted waiting vs regretted buying too early.
