Is this too big of a shoe?

Just bought these nova lasts as I want a dedicated running shoe. However I am normally a women’s 8 2E or a men’s 7 2E. These are men’s 8 D. I have a generous amount of space in the toe box. Is this too long. I am wondering if I’m getting the right alignment for the shoes midsole and technology placement there

Is this what they mean by “pads of the finger”?

in my other post i showed a small issue with the clarinet I am taking home for the summer, however if I play it like the second picture, it’s ok for the most part? On the upper joint it doesn’t matter how i play but it does on the lower joint

is this normal?

Saxophonist that is taking home a clarinet for the summer, is this normal? It feels like a two step button almost (I know its not a button but for analogy purposes);. I don’t know if the video shows it but when pressing down any of the right h asnd finger holes the top key doesn’t seal unless pressed further. It seems as if something is misaligned. I don’t know though as I am new to clarinet. It almost looks as if it is all shifted a slight milimeter down

Some context is that I am in my second year of playing saxophone (grade 11) however I have been playing piano since 7 years old and guitar since about 9 (currently 17) so I have picked it up quite quickly, especially seeing as I really enjoy it and love the sound and try. Anyways for my final solo piece in my music class, I wanted to do Libertango. The arrangement I found isn't actually that difficult to play. The main difficulty would be getting the feel of the song and mainly the high notes to speak consistantly, and in tune. I bought a new YAS-26 (this model doesn't have a high f sharp key) about half a year back. The problem I am facing is I can kinda do an altissimo F# but it isn't as clean as I would like it to be and I want to know if I can clean this up in 6 weeks time for finals. My options are

Play

  1. the high F#
  2. Transpose it a semitone lower
  3. Pick a different song
  4. Leave out the F# or drop it an octave. (idk if that is a good idea)
  5. I was honestly thinking of choosing an arrangement of Escualo as I enjoy the song better just I don't know how to work with the time sig changes (no accompinament) and I can't really double tounge.
  6. Sorry for the long blurb
