Back to work
How do you get over the anxiety of having to go back to work?
How do you get over the anxiety of having to go back to work?
My job at an assisted living gives me anxiety so bad. I had surgery and have been gone almost 3 months and worried about going back.
How do you build back exercise tolerance after P.E? I’m almost 2 months out and still get winded on short walks.
I had a panic attack almost two weeks ago and ever since my chest had felt heavy almost and under my left arm has been a little sore for a few months. I still get out of breath even on 10 minute walks. Is this normal? I’m sick of my doctors dismissing my worry and not taking me serious. I’ve been on Lovenox for almost 2 months now so I’m hoping it’s just anxiety. I have an appointment in a few days but kinda just wanted to see if anyone else experienced this?
I’ve been having daily panic attacks for the last week and horrible health anxiety. In May I had brain surgery to remove a benign tumor and then the end of May I had small blood clots in my lung. I spiral everyday into looking up any small symptoms and freak out. I take hydroxyzine as needed to stop the anxiety attacks but it takes a while to work and when it wears off I feel shitty and anxious later. Ugh.
I had a panic attack a week ago and ever since then I’ve had minor ones almost daily. I feel minor shortness of breath from them and I worry it’s clot related even though I’m on blood thinners and I saw my doctor and she said I’m doing good and it’s just anxiety. Ever since I’ve been diagnosed I feel so crazy and not myself. Anyone else feel like this or have advice?
I’ve been having daily anxiety attacks like I just get anxious as hell for no reason and can’t calm myself down. My doctor prescribed hydroxine or whatever it’s called but even that barely helps I’ve been taking it every day. Anyone have any tips to stop these random attacks?
How do you know you should up your dosage? I’m taking 20 mg but I’ve been through some traumatic health things and have been having daily anxiety attacks and just feel so anxious. Those of you who upped your dosage how did you feel in the beginning? Ugh I’m gonna ask my doctor as well but I wanna know from personal experience.
I still have shortness of breath after doing small tasks like walking around the block or cleaning my house. I was diagnosed May 23rd. I have an upcoming doctors appointment but is this normal?
I’m a caregiver at an assisted living and I’m nervous to go back to work. I had brain surgery in may and a PE in my left lung at the end of may. I go back to work in the beginning of August. Anyone else a CNA or work in a field like this while having blood clots?
I’ve been through so much these last few months and my anxiety is so bad about my health. I had major brain surgery in may and then got blood clots in my lung in the middle of may. I’m always scared something else is going to happen. Any tips or suggestions for my awful health anxiety?
I have shortness of breath from this heat and it gives me panic attacks. I’ve had small blood clots in my lung for a month now. When does this go away.😭🥲
I have two small pulmonary emboli in my lung and I’ve been so anxious I’m gonna get another clot. I’m on lovenox injections but I don’t have a follow up until September with my GP. I’m so anxious all the time that somehow I’ll get another clot on my blood thinner or that I’ll have to do this for life. :(((
Is there anyway to prevent the nasty bruises from lovenox? My stomach is bruised so bad and it’s painful when I accidentally touch them.
I have two small pulmonary emboli in my left lung and it’s been a little over two weeks. I used to smoke weed occasionally and was wondering if anyone in here ever smoked after recovery. I know it will be months and months before I can but just wondering if any one else has this experience.
How far were y’all walking two weeks after diagnosis? I walked about half a block and got so winded and out of breath. When does this get better?
It’s been a week since my small blood clots in my lung and I’m doing ok. I went for a short 5 minute walk but it felt like I walked a mile I’m tired and was a little short of breath. Is that normal?
Does anyone have any recovery tips for pulmonary embolism? My doctor said small walks for now but any other advice?
I had a major brain surgery and they said now I have a few small blood clots in my lower left lung. I’m on lovenox shots for 3 months and feeling better but I’m so anxious all the time. I was just diagnosed Friday and was wondering when it gets better. The ER doctor said to only do small stuff around the house and not walk around a lot so I don’t strain my heart but I’m going crazy from boredom and anxiety. Is there any tips you guys have for recovery? Or any words or advice? ❤️🩹
I have two small blood clots in my lung and the pain is unbearable. Please pray for me and my healing and that I’m able to get some comfort soon.
