IS/Price Changes

How long does it take to do price changes when you have several pages of clearance tags and regular price changes in an area that desperately needs a reset? Like Candy! Impulse too.

IS/Vendors

As an IS, How much time do you spend with each vendor? Do you check the vendors work? A lot of vendors will skip stocking certain areas, put things where they don’t go and pile the overstock on top of other vendor’s products. Do you keep it organized and separate each vendor’s products? Do you just open the door to the cooler and overstock room and let them put it where they want? How much time do you have left over to help with truck after your IS duties? How do you minimize the time spent with the vendors?

Legal Question related to apartment manager sending a bill 9 months after transferring to a different apartment in the same community.

Location: Austin, Texas ~
My apartment manager sent me a an email almost a year after I transferred to another apartment in the same community. She wrote that she could not do a courtesy waiver of late charges for late rent until I paid my balance from my previous apartment for repainting over two light, mint green walls and carpet replacement. I lived there over five years. I paid two dog fees of $800 and I had a “sure deposit.”She did not send me anything within the 30 days after move out. She claims she “sent” the invoice in her reply to my dispute email. She included pictures of the walls and the carpet. She included a partial screenshot of this information excluding dates. She first said she would give me until the end of the month. After my dispute email, she changed her statement to adding the balance of almost 400 to my current ledger in a sarcastic way as if she is doing me a favor. I had a sure deposit. The apartments were owned by different owners. I need help now! She’s mean! She will make my life hell if she does this. Any advice? I have not called legal aid or other resources yet. I plan to do that but just wondering if an attorney might help me with this because I have so much more to share about this evil manager. My problem is funds. (Was not sure about the flair to use)

IS never gets help but the SLs always have the CSAs to help them.

We are all on the same team working towards the same goal. If the IS is “suppose” to be a leadership position then why is it that when I ask for help from a CSA they act like I’m trying to get them to do something unreasonable or that I am on trying to get them to do something I should not be asking. They sure don’t treat the IS the same as a SL. The manager has told me many times that I am allowed to couch CSAs and delegate tasks and that I am in leadership. The CSAs act like they are not aware that I am in leadership when I ask for help with even the smallest tasks. I’ve mentioned to my SM to remind them but that doesn’t happen. SLs always have help from CSAs. I always have to do all my tasks by myself. Not one person offers to help me when they see me running around like the store is on fire! Why even say the IS is in leadership when nobody knows it?
