SOLVED - Question about the old Android 16.1 app

I have several ethernet switches in my wired internet system. The primary switch failed and I replaced it today. My sound issue with the Era 100s went away with the old ethernet switch. My internet speed on all the computers also went from okay to Wow! again.

I am still using the old Android 16.1 app. My setup is a beam gen 2 with a sub mini, two S1s for surround and a pair of E100 that I use for left/right speakers in addition to the beam for movies and alone for music. Everything has been working great until last week when the E100s started to develop what I can only describe as a pulse. Every two to three seconds the sound volume from them diminishes just enough to be heard. It's not critical, but it's really annoying.

The beam is run through my LG tv which had an update about the time everything started to act up. LG makes great tvs but they are absolutely no help for any issues that I have ever contacted them on.

I was going to uninstall the E100s and then reinstall them to see if that fixed the problem, but I'm afraid that when I go to reinstall them Sonos is going to make me update the app. I will not do that so I may have to abandon the E100s. I was wondering if I ran left and right cables to the line inputs if this would resolve the problem. I'm open to any suggestions.
