I wanted to consolidate my brokerage amount amount accounts, I was told by Fidelity reps that it should be easy. I had a lot of RSUs with Schwab, and someone from Fidelity walked me through getting them transferred. now the cost basis for all of those doesn’t show up. I called and another rep wasn’t sure, and eventually told me RSUs won’t sh low cost basis and they are noncovered.

Do I really have to go update the cost basis of all this equity and keep the receipts for 10+ years when I decide to sell? This is really frustrating. Should have left it all in Schwab.
