Task failed successfully
My schedule + weather + shelter schedule have to align so I can TNR the cats I'm feeding. It did!
Trap out last night - 7pm, cat looked, but did not enter. 8pm - same cat looked, but did not enter. Pulled it in at 9pm as cats never come after dark but raccoons do.
Trap out this morning. Low chances of success due to timing, but there'sa tabby who sometimes comes early. 7:10am, trapped the tabby!!!!! Preparing to take the cat to shelter, I carefully lift the cover to look at cat. And I see a clear ear tip. Sigh.
Cat is released, I've lost the opportunity for this appt. I don't know when my next opportunity will be. I'll keep trying.
Note: I'm the restaurant, not the bed and breakfast. They show up when they want, and while there's patterns they aren't always consistent. Next cat likely won't show up until 10am at earliest, often not until noon.
