SO…. My wife, our known donor and I decided to go down the path of doing this ourselves before considering medical intervention. I’ve done all the testing through our fertility clinic and came back green, we’ve done the lawyer things, the genetic things + now just trying using the Frida at home insemination kit (menstrual discs, heating pad, preseed & all)
We are on attempt two of well timed insemination (twice a month, peak & ovulation day or peak and day before peak for this last cycle)…. And I just got my period. This BLOWS lol. Why was I under the assumption this would be a one and done and getting pregnant would be a breeze?! 😅 I’m so disappointed and know we’re early in the process, but my best friend (straight) and her husband accidentally got knocked up and so many people (including my own mom) said it happened their first month. Trying to not get hyperfixated but curious to hear at home insemination success stories? AND how many tries it took (if it was 1, I’m so happy for you and still plz share haha)
