Is the tabouli salad supposed to have these holes in the plastic?

i often get the tabouli salad, but i just now noticed these holes on the inner film. is it supposed to be vented like this? they’re very uniform which makes me think it may be to ensure these things don’t explode if they get a day past their expiration.
