Salmon Shortage

My Aldi's is always out of the smoked salmon. I have recently found that my own father is driving to the Aldi's in my neighborhood, and buying every package of salmon except for one. He is doing this multiple times a week.

Is there anyway to request that my particular store have more salmon on the shelves?

Things not at Aldi

Any chance you all know about a way to tell Aldi the things we end up having to go to other grocery stores for? For me, Better Than Bullion, single lemons/limes/oranges, dried dill, local beer, and orzo see what come to mind.

Stir Fry Udon Review

Very disappointed. Ate this as one serving since there was approximately 5 pieces of beef. Was expecting a bit more meat. Sauce is just a basic teriyaki. Not worth the $10 in my opinion

The changed the nuggets?!

Maybe this has been noticed already but I can’t find anything online about it. The Kirkwood Chicken Patty Nuggets are my toddlers favorite. I noticed last shop that the packaging was different but it says nothing else has changed so I thought it would be fine.

In the pics you’ll see Side by Side comparison of not only the outside but the inside. These 2 nuggets were cooked in the same basket for the same amount of time in my air fryer. The color is now tan/gray, the texture is now mushy, the taste is off, and the new bag is greasier.

I’m so upset by this change and no warning. I would’ve stocked up on the nuggets. Has anyone else experienced this or even noticed?

Kimbap

Were the kimbaps that Aldi had limited time only? I made the mistake of not stocking up and was so sad to not find them in my store this weekend. Please tell me they’ll come back, I’m desperate.

Aldi Brand Cosmic Brownies

Hi! I’ve been on the hunt for the aldi brand cosmic brownies for probably the past month or so.. Every time I stop into an aldi, they never have the cosmic brownies. The tag is on the shelf but ALWAYS empty.

I’m wondering if they stopped making them, had a recall, or if my aldi just has someone who swipes them all?! 😂

My fiancé loves them and we haven’t been able to find them.

tyia!!

Did anyone else have the Stonemill Sea Salt Grinder break on them and spill everywhere?

The Stonemill Sea Salt disaster of 2026. 🧂

So I uncapped this, gave it a normal rotate, and the whole bottle just emptied itself right into my broth.

Has this happened to anyone else, or is this because of Mercury Retrograde (which is happening right now)? Thank you.

A couple weeks ago, I was at Aldi's with my mom, whilst we were there, she found these Italian ices there and she got them for me to try.

This is the Strawberry and Lemon 6 pack. I think this was the only flavor available at my local store when I got these. But these are so good.

Kinda like a sherbet/sorbet but not exactly. Soft and creamy but still icy. I love these and would totally get these again.

Have you tried these before?

Best Sandwich Ever

I made the (almost) best sandwich ever. Italian bread, mayo, spicy brown mustard, pickled banana peppers, pickled jalapeno peppers, sliced sharp cheddar, sliced havarti, roma tomatoes, romaine lettuce, jalapeño kettle cooked chips, and deli-sliced rotisserie chicken. The only thing I would have added was bacon as the second protein and a pickle on the side.

If you had $15 to spend on Aldi, what would you spend it on? Snacks, drinks, supplemental groceries, etc.

I’m going to Aldi and I want to spend around $20. I have $5 reserved for items I know I want to buy. I can buy more or less what I usually buy but I don’t know, I want to branch out and try things I’ve never tried before. I want to know what others would buy if they had a similar budget. This is just a supplemental/fun grocery trip so I’m not relying solely on these items.

Edit: Wow, thank you everyone for your responses. I ended up getting coconut water, lime tortilla chips, crackers and the cranberry white cheddar cheese. Will try other suggestions in future trips.

Has anyone tried these boba tea kits?

Saw them at my store and had to grab them but wanted to know if anyone tried them? I’m going to try the taro flavor tomorrow.

Holy smokes I made blts with the cheddar jalapeno sourdough

I don't eat much bread but I always see people post this and it looks so good I've been wanting to try it. Decided to do blts and it was a home run.

Tortilla reverse shrinkflation! 🥳

I thought the tortilla package felt a bit heavy, but didn't think much of it. When I got home, I was making lunch and counted the tortillas. 12 instead of 8! That's a 50% increase. I'll take it!

Mama cozzi flatbread supposed to have holes????!

Is this normal? I never noticed before and now I’m hesitant to bake it. This is the flatbread from the refrigerated section.

Hey the flatbread is pretty good

Honestly I was skeptical when I got it. I had been eyeing the flatbreads in the refrigerator section for a while wondering if they were any good and worth the 6-7 ish dollars.

Pleased to report it is! It’s super easy to make (9-11 min in a preheated oven) and makes about 4 slices. A good alternative if you are jonesing for pizza, which can be expensive, and especially as a quick meal when you don’t feel like cooking.
