Has "sound beam" technology been replaced by virtual Atmos and DTS surround sound?
The last time I seriously looked into soundbars Yamaha especially was claiming their tech could create essentially laser beams of sound for virtual surround sound but I don't see them or anyone else touting such technology now. For those that have followed the tech for a long time is that idea obsolete? Was it ever truly legitimate to begin with?
Was it actually shot on film or did they add all of the grain to digital?
Definitely looks artificial to me but I would be happy to be wrong.
You're Toto. George quits to pursue modelling. Leclerc, Norris, and Piastri are on the market. Who do you hire?
Honestly for me it's still Leclerc even though he's absolutely biffing it I think he's still the best driver of the three.
Why do you think the top 4 teams are the same even after major aero and engine reg changes?
In the cost cap era you would imagine there would be at least a little bit of a shake up there. Other teams have hired important staff from the top 4 teams and yet it never seems to make much if any difference.
The largest qualifying gap between teammates was for the two slowest cars on the grid in Canada
Alonso out qualified Stroll by one second and Perez out qualified Bottas by 9 tenths. Sadly they didn't escape Q1. Why do you think that is? Is it the relative quality of the drivers or is there just that much more to extract from a slow car?
For reference the Audis were 2 tenths apart, the Mercs, Ferraris, and Mclarens were 1 tenth or less apart.
