My Krita has ran exceedingly poor for over a year

I've been struggling with Krita having performance issues for a very long time. My computer can run modeling softwares with hundreds of thousands of triangles perfectly fine but for some reason no matter what settings i use, what renderer or anything, Krita always runs poorly.

For example, I'll begin to make a selection box and it will freeze, or sometimes stop responding temporarily. or, i would try moving a layer and it stops responding for like 10 seconds.

In the past simply saving and restarting the app would work, but now even after fully clean installing, it only runs poorly and i dont understand how to fix it. I dont even edit high res photos. majority of the time they are below 1000x1000px

it is also possible that any version i have used has just been buggy versions, because I used the same version for the longest time then updated to an up-to-date version about a month ago, but if this is the case, im not sure which version to revert to

Update: Ive found that, for some reason, switching to opengl with texture buffer off, and instant preview off for transform and move tool while having instack preview on, it makes every other tool and the entire program work well. i dont understand, but im not touching settings ever again

Update 2: after messing around with every combination of settings, turning on software renderer works absolutely perfect. i love amd so much arent they so awesome 🥰

How to increase frame delay for gifs?

For example, ezgif has an option to increase time between frames, as to preserve all frames but just lower the framerate, which also increases the length of the gif.
