I moved back to VB about a year ago and have gotten back into golfing. I’m looking for a group or some friends to play competitive social golf. I’m no stick but I played in high-school so I enjoy the competition side of golf. I’m 28 years young and a 18 handicap ball down but play closer to a 10 or 12 “socially”. I haven’t held a USGA cap in sometime but can get one if needed.
When I was in Williamsburg I played with a group of mainly retirees where we pooled like $5 an a head and played a bunch of formats. They played everyday M-T and I got along pretty well with them even though I was 20 or 30 years younger than most of them. It was a blast and I really want to get back to something similar.
I do love to gamble and I like to play money matches but I really don’t like to sweat stakes so if your crew plays more than $1 or $2 a skin I’m not really your guy. Truly I’m pretty poor so just paying for the rounds and losing 6 balls is enough heartache for me.
