Its so ridiculous that content creators stopped using legitimate words ... just because they worry more about getting demonetized.

Words like rape and even the more mild alternative, sexual assault, are no longer spoken. WTF, these are legitimate words. They're not even profanity or hate speech phrases. Those are real words found in the dictionary, in news reporting, and are commony spoken in everyday conversations.

It's gotten so bad, that the creators won't even say "blood'. They'll use encrypted terms like "red stuff", 'red liquid", or "fluid".

Instead of suicide, kill, or even murdered, they use terms like "unaliving", "self deletion" and "unsubscribe".

I don't know whether to laugh or cringe but I do know it's not American to talk that way.

RSS feeds are not auto-updating in my WordPress website as well. I tried disabling plugins one by one to see if that was the problem. It wasn't.

The RSS feeds, however, do update if I put the same widget / script into a separate html page located on the same web host, so it has to be a WordPress problem.

Do you know how I may best investigate this problem, and correct it?
