Hey all,
Got a 2016 jeep grand cherokee 3.6L and i got a couple of issues im interested if any of you guys have some ideas for me.
Issue 1- When its below freezing outside when you try to put it into gear after it's been sitting all night.. it wont shift out of park and check engine light will come on. Then if you put it back in park, turn it off and turn it back on it will shift perfectly fine. The check engine light goes away within 24 hours. This issue is also intermittent
Issue 2- When you're slowing down it will intermittently downshift noticeably hard, this is intermittent and some drives it's fine and some it happens once or twice but it's not every time you slow down. This happens like right before you come to a stop so like under 10km/hr
Any ideas? I haven't taken it in at all and there hasn't been any maintenance on the trans as from my understanding it's a closed system or some bs. Every time i try and read the code of the engine light it goes away and i can't seem to find any sort of past code.
