I'm going to preface this with saying that I've been playing bass for close to 15 years now, I am very familiar with music theory with a degree in music composition and theory but I've found myself looking to learn how to play the other stringed instrument. So I am curious, from someone else who has also learned guitar coming from a primarily bass centric background what do you recommend I work on the most? What are some tips/tricks that helped you most when you were learning?
I love using theory books and rudiment books like cello suites and tuba practice etudes, if you have any book recommendations Id especially be interested in material like that.
