So I’ve installed a new automatic transmission in my 2006 Lexus LS460, new torque converter too so I know the entire system, including the oil cooler (due to a burst pipe) is drained.

The capacity according to Lexus after a trans replacement is 9.9L, but if filling up via a rubber hose into the fill bung I can only get about 3L in.

How do I go about filling the rest? Other than running it and letting it pull through via the pump. I’m scared of running it dry. I’d rather avoid buying a pressure filler for a job I’ll only ever do once.
