How far have you travelled just for parkrun?

There was a lady at parkrun this morning who’d left at 4:30am to get there because it’s one of the harder letters of the alphabet.

I’m not talking about being on a trip and doing parkrun, or even planning a holiday around a parkrun location. But how far would/have you travelled just to do a parkrun?

During both of my childbirths I experienced “silent labour” where the majority of labour was painless. I only felt pain for the final stage which lead to two dramatic births. AMA

I was monitored during my first labour because I was induced. The midwives could see contractions on the printout but I couldn’t feel them at all.

For my second child, I noticed something had changed during the afternoon, and even told my husband so, but I didn’t feel any pain. I started feeling contractions in the evening and it was so quick from then that my daughter was born in the lift at the hospital.

It was after my second birth that a doctor told me it looks like I have silent labours.

Help me work out what my husband’s up to

Left my husband and kids (3&5) in the garden twenty minutes ago so I could have a bath.

When I left they were playing on the trampoline but now I can hear hammering, sawing and drilling and I have no idea why.

So help me work out what he’s up to.

Wrong guesses only.
