Hi everyone, I'm considering picking up the Takumi Sen 11, but I've heard mixed reviews regarding its performance at slower paces. I'm looking for a shoe that can handle a very wide range of training, and I'm torn between this and the Boston 13.
My Paces & Use Case:
Intervals: Down to 3:00 min/km pace
Tempo: 5:00 min/km (usually 5km sessions)
Easy/Zone 2: 6:00 to 8:00 min/km pace
Surfaces: Asphalt roads and Treadmills.
Goal: I'm training for a 5km and 10 race, but I don't race very often (maybe 3-4 times a year).
I'm wondering if the Takumi Sen 11 is versatile enough to be "worth it" as a primary speed/daily trainer, or if I should stick with the Boston 13 for better stability during those slower recovery days.
Does anyone have experience using the Takumi Sen 11 for Zone 2 runs? Does the instability make it a dealbreaker for slower paces? Thanks!
