Pros and Cons?
I am thinking of moving to York with my partner from Bournemouth. We don’t have family ties to any specific locations in England, we are both from the midlands but my family is originally from Bournemouth. I have family in Leeds and York, she has family in Manchester and we both have close family abroad too.
We have struggled to make friends, I often work alone and find myself bored. As we are early in our careers, in our 20s and have family up north I think this could be exciting. But I also sometimes get an idea stuck in my head and I’m worried I’m being impulsive. Would love some first hand Pros and Cons of York from people who have lived there for years or born and raised.
We currently rent a small (but cute) flat close by the beach, but we want pets and it just is not big enough. Realistically we just don’t go to the beach every week and when summer hits it is so busy!
