roth ira or hysa better ?

i am looking to open both within the year but i was wondering what would be best to open before the other. I am 19F looking to start saving some long term money - for context i do not have much saved as i paid my tuition and housing for college completely by myself. i noticed since i take care of my housing all at once and i do not have any other expenses i tend to spend my money on frivolous things (coffee, figured, cds, etc) and i wanted to start saving some of that for my future

simple question - 0% utilization

i'm 19f looking to build my credit score to hopefully buy a car in about a year or two, i opened a secured card to do this ($200 CL) but im a bit confused about the utilization,

if i pay off my card balance before the closing date will that show as a 0% utilization to the credit bureaus? am i making my credit card useless to my score?

i'm trying to get into the ropes of using my credit but also being responsible so, I have been paying my balance before the statement closes. i've been reading a bit and it seems as if i'm just shooting myself in the foot of a possible great credit score so i was looking for some guidance, should i leave atleast a $20 statement for when it closes?
