so I used to love the way my infinity sounded I have a 2015 Infiniti Q 50 with a 3.7 L VQ my previous set up that I loved was Burke test pipes Megan Y pipe and a muffler delete my car sounded amazing. I used to get compliments when I downshifted. It sounded like a V12 lmao (in my opinion) I genuinely loved it
I recently just replaced my resonators because my stock resonators were making a weird rattling sound on idol so I thought hey why don’t I replace these and replace some of the piping so I can have a true dual exhaust all 2 1/2 inch I got 14 inch resonators ultra quiet vibrant resonators the shop that did this did a great job. They did exactly what I wanted, they had good welds they placed the resonators in a good spot everything. I started my car up at the shop sounded great. I revved it sounded better than before. I go to leave. I step on the gas. My car sounds terrible. It sounds like a lawnmower. It’s genuinely embarrassing to drive. I don’t know what happened it’s hard to explain my car. Sounds like a completely different vehicle. I’m genuinely so upset. Please give me help. I’m debating buying a whole new OEM resonator and piping. to go back to the sound I loved it will cost me a lot money in labor for them to change everything they just did to make it not dual exhaust anymore and it’ll cost me probably $300 to get new OEM parts already $600 in the hole right now I hate how my car sounds. It’s gonna cost me another $600 just to fix this please somebody help please give me advice on resonators I could maybe just put on and make it sound better please please help.
