The Korean to Japanese course is pure AI slop and genuinely unusable.

This is so fucking frustrating. The Korean-to-Japanese course on Duolingo seems to have been generated entirely from a glitchy AI without any further QA from an actual human being.

Just look at the picture.

  • にじ = "rainbow"?? i get it, niji can mean both "2 o' clock" or "rainbow. BUT in a section learning HOW TO TELL TIME?
  • another one: はなです = "It's a flower"? It's *clearly* supposed to mean a person's name
  • No kanji tab. no need to explain this 💔

It's gotten so bad that Korean users literally advise other Koreans not to use the Korean base and just learn Japanese through English course instead.

I guess this is what happens when you go "full AI". 😮‍💨
