4 months NC, and confusing things are happening.
Hi everyone - I (30F) have been almost totally NC with my ex (33M) for nearly 4 months. There was one time when I reached out about a month into NC (I’m the dumpee), and a door was left open to having a conversation in the future.
We were together a year and a half, and very serious. We had looked at engagement rings just a few weeks before our first ever fight, which ultimately ended the relationship. I’ve realized since he is very avoidant, and it was a bad break up (I was very calm, but it was quite sudden and cold). He never blocked me or unfollowed me, but he did restrict me on IG across his multiple accounts. Now, I’ve noticed out of the blue, he’s un restricted me across his accounts, but sometimes re-applies it.
I’m continuing to focus on myself primarily and move forward (I’ve even started dating again), but I’m finding this very confusing. Any insights? I’m not currently planning to reach back out, but am curiously feeling like he might break the silence and can’t understand why he’s toggling this.
