A&W Root Beer Float Zero Sugar

A&W Root Beer Float Zero Sugar

Now time for the zero sugar version of the A&W Root Beer Float that I got last week at Walmart. I got to say I actually prefer the zero sugar version which to me seems like a typical type of zero sugar soda while the regular seemed slightly too sweet and artificial, but not too bad really. With the Mug floats, my impression was the opposite actually I preferred the regular and then the zero sugar not as much. Oh well that’s my take. Embibe on fellow aficionados.

A&W Root Beer Float

I got around to trying the A&W Root Beer Float I got at Walmart last week. Nothing I look forward to drinking really, but I’ll certainly finish off the rest of my 12 pack with no problem. I recall enjoying the Mug Root Beer Float a bit more. I thought that one was smoother and creamier. Like silky smooth creamy vanilla.

Aaron’s Craft Soda Root Beer

Aaron’s Craft Soda Root Beer is perfectly fine if you’re in the mood for one with less sugar. 40g for 16 oz. Mild and not particularly special but refreshing. Another one acquired from Austin. It is brewed and canned by Servaes Brewing Company of Shawnee, Kansas.

Trails Edge Brewing Co Root Beer

I acquired the Trails Edge Brewing Co Root Beer from Austin. A fairly standard but tasty flavor profile and I’m enjoying its extra bit of carbonation. Trails Edge Brewing Co of Frankfort, IL

Proda Protein Soda Root Beer

This is actually the third protein soda root beer I have had and none of them were really anything that great. All three were a miss in my opinion. The Proda acquired at Sprouts Farmers Markets. I just now recalled that I actually had the Premier protein root beer float a while back and it was actually pretty good so I kind of wonder what makes the difference between that being pretty good and all three of the sodas I’ve had being a miss 🤔

2 pics of updated trade availability. Click on 2nd pic to expand.

Updated trading availability for anyone and also Significantbike. I still need those 2 I mentioned a couple of weeks ago.

A high priority for me is to get one of each of the 3 new Sprecher Root Beers.

Any brewery root beer with no distribution or any small time hemp based federally legal to ship THC root beer. A 1919 Zero Sugar would also be nice

A&W Root Beer Floats

The Walmart most convenient to me got theirs put out on an endcap as of yesterday so I had a few minutes before work this morning to get some A&W Root Beer Floats

Sparky’s Root Beer

Sparky’s Root Beer is really sweet so it’s use of somewhat heavy wintergreen comes off as wintergreen candy IMO so I really like that. A rating. I got it at either the Cincinnati or Fairfield, OH location of the Jungle Jim’s International Markets.

Warped Wing Root Beer

A good solid choice kind of like a milder version of Barqs that might not be in that special tier, but feels badass enough to have tracked some down to enjoy. Warped Wing Brewery has a few locations between Cincinnati and Dayton, OH but I got mine from the Mason, OH location.

Frostop Imperial Special Draft

The pure clover honey of the Frostop Imperial Special Draft hits so glorious to round out what feels like a good sassafras flavor accented by wintergreen, anise, and vanilla. Not your fathers plastic bottle recipe of Frostop 😉 I got it at either the Cincinnati or Fairfield, OH location of Jungle Jim’s International Markets.

Kast Iron Soda Works Root Beer

A special commemorative bottling that I believe is usually only on draft as their homemade root beer of Kast Iron Soda Works of Salem, OH. I got it at either the Cincinnati or Fairfield, OH location of Jungle Jim’s International Markets. Good classic taste with a pleasant kick of cinnamon. A rating.

Nekter Pop

Hmm well something new from Sprouts Farmers Markets. Less of a root beer and more so some sort of probiotic cider drink….

Bulldog

It’s been a bit since my last Bulldog, but it unleashes the honey and vanilla flavors like usual. I totally dig it. It’s been one that I’ve hyped up since the beginning. I got it at either the Cincinnati or Fairfield, OH location of Jungle Jim’s International Market.

Sixth City Maple Root Beer

Sixth City Maple Root Beer is pretty good. It started off really good with a good dose of maple and a nice edge from the base flavor, seemed a bit muted in the middle, but then finished up quite robust. Maybe it was the snack pairing that made the flavor difference? I got it from Jungle Jim’s in either Cincinnati or Fairfield, OH

When root beer calls it’s time to roll to Knoxville, TN for a little mid day trip to celebrate the 4th of July with the arrival of new ones all while jamming out to electric 94.9 red, white, and bangers weekend music in my car.

Trade fodder

Some trade fodder. Significantbike, BeautifulDebate, or anyone else. The first one in the special commemorative bottle is normally only on draft as their homemade root beer at Kast Iron Sodaworks of Salem, OH and then some of us sleuths have seen the Sixth City Honey Blonde Root Beer which I have if needed, but probably not this Sixth City Maple Root Beer. The canned one from one of the few breweries of Warped Wing between Cincinnati and Columbus, OH. The rest of the glass bottles coming from Jungle Jim’s in Cincinnati as well.

A couple of federally legal to ship hemp derived THC root beers as well

Small brewery root beers with no distribution or any small time hemp derived federally legal to ship THC root beers is what I’m looking for.

While in Rocky Top the home of the Tennessee Volunteers you might as well get them all that you haven’t had before from Total Wine and then Bob’s Liquor and Wine.
