Hi everyone,

I joined KPMG KGS as an AD about a month ago. Since joining, I’ve mostly been completing trainings and haven’t yet been assigned to any project or client work. I follow up with my Partner every few days to ask where I can contribute. He says he has something planned for me and will let me know, but I’m becoming concerned because my confirmation review is due in about three months. I also haven’t been introduced to the wider team yet. The teams reporting to my Partner seem to be virtual and spread across different locations, so I don’t have a clear point of contact. At the moment, I go to the office, sit by myself, complete trainings, and return home. Is this normal for a new AD at KGS? Should I continue waiting, or should I proactively contact the resource manager, HR, or other leaders to find work? Is there anything else I should be doing to ensure this does not affect my confirmation? I would really appreciate advice from anyone who has experienced something similar.

I am scheduled to join as Associate Director at KGS India in two weeks. Could you please advise on the timeline for laptop allocation for new joiners? Additionally, is it possible to request a MacBook instead of a Windows laptop, and should I email HR in advance regarding this preference?

I have accepted an offer for the position of Associate Director. However, I also visit a nearby engineering college on friday n saturday for two hour each morning to provide guidance on Final Year BE Projects in Computers and to teach them ai. In appreciation, the college provides a fixed, modest monthly amount via NEFT, which I receive on the 10th of each month. I thoroughly enjoy teaching at the college and am concerned whether this arrangement might pose any issues upon joining KPMG, given the monthly compensation. I would appreciate your guidance on this matter.

Any idea regarding what the role and responsibilities for Associate Director AI Solutions will be, what to expect.

My L3 round has been successfully completed, and an HR discussion is now scheduled. I would appreciate some insight into what to expect from this discussion, including its typical duration and the timeframe for receiving an offer afterward. Additionally, could you provide an overview of the questions HR commonly poses during these discussions?
