Landlord hasn’t repaired HVAC for almost 3 months — now heating isn’t working either. What are my options in Alberta?

The AC stopped working properly because the blower motor is damaged. The property management has repeatedly told me that the contractor is waiting for parts, but the issue still hasn’t been fixed. I’ve already followed up with management multiple times, including by email, but haven’t received a clear timeline for when it will actually be repaired.

Now it appears that the heating is also not functioning properly because of the damaged blower motor.

I’m concerned because we’re heading toward colder weather, and without a functioning HVAC system, the unit may not have adequate heating.

Any advice from Alberta renters or landlords who have dealt with something similar would be appreciated.

My 2016 4Runner suddenly started jerking when I shift from Park and begin moving at low speed. The check engine light came on, and it also jerks when coming to a stop. I have a 1,600 km road trip planned in the next two days. Am I in cooked?

I washed my car twice thinking it was just dirt, but turns out these are hard water spots/scale and they’re not coming off at all.

Looks like they’ve baked into the paint a bit and regular wash did nothing.

I don’t have a garage or shaded area, so doing a full vinegar treatment isn’t really practical for me.

What products actually work for this that I can use outside (something I can grab from Canadian Tire or Walmart preferably)?

Also, at what point do these need polishing instead of just a chemical remover?

Any help appreciated.
