Hello everyone, I’m transferring to GMU this fall as a CS major from NOVA and wanted some advice from current students or other transfers.

This fall I’ll be taking essentials to computer science class
and Intro to C.

Questions:

Any general advice for an upcoming cs student?
What would you recommend I focus on before transferring?
What helped you land your first internship?
What projects or skills helped you stand out?
Are the GMU career fairs really useful for CS students?
